Test from Windows Live Writer (WLW)

This is a quick test from a new beta tool from Microsoft for editing blogs.

Setup was fairly easy to use with Drupal.  I found a good set of instructions here.

The interface and usability of WLW is quick slick for a beta.  Links are easy to insert, pictures are also easy:

MacBook with Boot Camp

The new MacBook arrived this week, my wife’s, not mine :-(

Installing Windows XP with Boot Camp was a fairly straight forward process except for the windows disk itself. It turns out that in order to install Windows XP with bootcamp the installer and service pack 2 must be on 1 disk. After a little searching [Slipstreaming Windows XP] we were back on track and installing XP. After installing the drivers provided by Apple everything seemed to be up and running.

The dualboot procedure is quite nice on the Mac. Holding down the option key will display two harddrive pictures from which you select the OS that you want to start.
