Greener Instrumentation via Software?

An article at NewScientist caught my eye the other day and got me thinking. The title of the article was Blurry X-rays become clear with new software

AnIML Talk at Pittcon 2008

I will be giving a talk at the AnIML workshop ( Pittcon conference) this March in New Orleans. 

The AnIML project is a NIST headed group that is developing an XML file format standard for storing analytical data.
