Our partners at Ziath were at the European Laboratory and Robotics Interest Group (ELRIG) Drug Discovery 2011 conference in September, and showed off Samples.

We are pleased to announce version 1.2.3 of Samples!

This release contains a few key bugfixes, including a hang related to removing samples from the sample inventory.

We've also added functionality to remove an entire sample rack and all its contained samples at once.

Ziath is going to be debuting Samples at the European Laboratory and Robotics Interest Group (ELRIG) Drug Discovery 2011 conference. The conference runs September 7th and 8th, 2011 in Manchester. The conference aims "is to provide a communication, education and networking opportunity for scientists engaged in early-phase drug discovery whether in academia, biotech or industry."

We have added lots of exciting new features to help you map your workflow into Samples better.

User Request - Experiment Cloning

The typical user of Samples configures an experiment and runs this experiment several times tweaking the protocol.

To help aid this workflow we have added the ability to clone Experiments and Containers.

We have currently had some requests from individuals in research institutes inquiring about the possibility of getting student discounts for Samples.

Our reply to these inquiries was yes!   Yes, because we at Scimatic Software understand budget constraints in academia.  We build software for scientists and want scientists to use our software and not pass on it due to pricing concerns.

As of today we are changing our student discount into the academic discount.
